As well as a lover of bikes in all shapes and forms, I am also part of the Manchester Women’s Design Group (MWDG), a voluntary group of women, who live and work in Manchester.
We work for and with the community to highlight and raise awareness of gender equality in the built environment. We are part of the Womens Design Service, based in London, but unfortunately this organisation has just folded ‘thanks to’ the funding cuts that the Government is so ruthlessly applying. But we are continuing to run this voluntary group self sufficiently in Manchester.
Amongst many things, I write the MWDG blog, where you can find more info on the activities, consultations and workshops we run. We are always looking for new members to join our creative think tank, so if you would like to contact us please do so, we would be delighted to hear from you!! Visit our blog for more info.
