For Japan, with love.

This post is for Japan and all those affected by the earthquake. Not one day goes by without my love and thoughts going out to them all.

Words sometimes, often, can be loud and jarring.

But I came across Josie Dew’s post, and I am re-reading chapters of her wonderful book “A ride in the neon sun”. She has a wonderful, human way to tell stories and experiences.

Also, lovely Suzi, MrC‘s other half, is doing a bike ride – Sowerby Bridge to Manchester, 33 miles, via the Rochdale Canal – on Saturday the 26th of April, to raise money on behalf of Save the Children, to help the children affected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. You can sponsor her here.

And of course, there’s the fantastic work that the Red Cross is doing. (You can donate for the Japan appeal here)

  1. Thanks for the sponsorship plug LC! Although it is worth noting that the Sowerby Bridge -Manchester ride isn’t until the 26th April.

    Now, back to the budget…
